Premature speculation in race for 99th Assembly seat
With New York’s 99th Assembly seat being vacated by Greg Ball, potential candidates have been considering throwing their hat into the contest for what is considered a safe Republican seat. Putnam County Legislator Dan Birmingham had initially stepped forward as the frontrunner, but shut down his campaign last week.
