Bee Attacks Keep EMS Providers Busy
A rash of cases involving bee and wasp stings have kept Putnam EMS providers on the go in recent days.
Nine cases were reported Sunday with ambulances being summoned to transport victims of bee stings to area hospitals.
Rescue squads were pressed into action in Patterson, Kent, Mahopac, Brewster, Lake Carmel, North Highlands, Garrison, and Putnam Valley.
