$20,000 Worth of Food Collected by Rotarians
The generosity of shoppers at the Shop-Rite Plaza in Carmel was evident last weekend when more than $20,000 in non-perishable food products was collected for distribution to four area food pantries.
Members of the Carmel Rotary spent both Saturday and Sunday in front of Shop-Rite encouraging consumers to purchase either a $5 bag filled with groceries or a $10 bag with great success.
