New York attorney general Andrew Cuomo won a landslide victory against his Republican opponent, Carl Paladino, in Tuesday’s statewide gubernatorial election. Cuomo follows in the footsteps of his father, Mario Cuomo, who was governor of New York between 1983 and 1994.
